Victoria Fricot - 6th place over all.  Nett girls winner

Peregian Springs Golf Club is fast developing the reputation of having rising golf stars in the making. Over the past 4 years Peregian Springs juniors between the ages of 6-18 years have performed well at both Club competition and on the Invincible Tour (Sunshine Coast Junior Open Events). The Club's program offers them an opportunity to start playing golf and learn the wonderful attributes to this healthy sport.

Junior Convenor Bruce Woodhead and  Head Professional Wayne Rostron devote their time and effort into the development of the Club's juniors who are the future of golf in Australia and Peregian Springs golf club. The program consists of 2 hourly junior clinics and a weekly competition on Saturday afternoons.  More than 40 juniors in the last 12 months have joined the program and continually improve and enjoy the game. Over the last 6 months Peregian Springs golf club have produced some of the best talent on the sunshine coast and will continue to produce young stars in the coming years. During the last 3 years the Club's juniors have represented Peregian Springs Golf Club in junior Competitions and tournaments across the Sunshine Coast and have produced excellent results by winning in their respective age groups and handicap levels. The program was recently recognized by the Invincible Tour and awarded 'Best Junior Supporting Club' for 2008.
